Is Liv Tyler Too Big For The Big Screen?
With
the exception of The Lord of the Rings movies, which she is barely in, Liv
Tyler hasn’t been on movie screens very much in the last couple years and
that may be because some studio bosses feel she’s not quite as trim as she
should be. The actress who’s best known for the pouty lips she inherited
from her rock star father slimmed down to a svelt 125 pounds for The Lord
of the Rings trilogy, but her weight more typically hovers around 150 pounds,
which is considered a bit too hefty for a leading lady. Liv, however, has
no interest in making herself skinny just to get parts. She says, “I’ve
been told that if I lose weight I’d have more work, but I refuse to submit
myself to Hollywood standards. To the rest of the world I am slim and I
like the way I am.”
